Just one wheel

 Giraffe unicycle

                        They have a chain like a two wheeled bike.

                       So they are much taller than other unicycle.

                      Most of unicycles don’t have a chain that means

                    that the seat has to be a length of the riders legs.

                   The seat on one of these unicycles can be 3 meters

                   long.

Mountain unicycle

                     They have larger wheels than other unicycles.

                    So that the rider can go over obstacles such as tree roots

                    and rocks. They usually have brakes too.

Freestyle unicycle

                           Are used on soft surfaces. The people who ride

                                 them are called freestylers. They are known to do                                                          

                          outstanding tricks. They are also used for sports such

                                 as unicycle hockey.  

Little Red Riding Hood my Verison

Hi, I’m um, um, the wolf I guess. So I guess I’m supposed to tell you a story. Maybe I will tell you one of my favourite ones. Well, one day I met a little girl and her favourite colour was red, and she asked me (a big furry creature) would I like to come for a cup a tea at her granny's. All I could say was “Yes’” because I was starving. So after we got there I was so tired. It was a five hour walk and I had no PJ’s, so I borrowed some from an old lady. The bed was so rough that it felt like someone was already lying in it, but I didn’t mind. Then, the next minute, the door flung open, but nothing came out. Then I felt the bed move as I moved my feet and started to kick. Somebody screamed and I got such a fright that I fell off the bed. Did anyone notice the women in the bed? Then I looked a bit closer and saw that she looked like that girl I met. But I can’t lie. I ate her. But then Little Red Riding Hood came in with her hood ripped and her hair cut. She also had a shotgun. I hid but she found me and “boom!” I was dead.

                                       
                                         For this activity I had to read a poem and this girl went
                                         swimming for the first picture.Then for the second picture she was talking  to her                                            friends. Then for the second picture she went to do
                                         something that scared her. It was jumping off the jetty and she always wanted to                                            do it and she did. Then the last picture is of at the end of the day. She was
                                         thinking about how she over came her fear and how proud she
                                         was.

Otama School

It is a little school with only 30 kids in it. But the constant learning makes it look bigger. But in class the constant Mrs Catherwood can get annoying. But just knowing we all have a bright future ahead makes the teaches smile 100 times better. I can only guarantee outside is like a racket when it hits playtime. But we all play fear and own up. Even from outside you can hear the teachers chitter chattering with a cup a tea in their hand and a piece of cake. It is just the best school

Jump!

Nervously waiting, I have to go. Step by step, getting closer to the edge. My face lights up, my legs turn to jelly. My head's spinning round and round constantly. As my face hits the wind I hear, “Are you going to jump?” Just looking back at the other people leaning over the rail made me incredibly scared. Then the man yells 3, 2, 1, and pushes me.

The Beautiful Nature

The shape is just like a hill but with a hole in the middle. But this is not just any hole, it has got a crystal clear sprinkle of waterfall rushing down the middle. Then there is a slope going down, until it hits the start of the slow, flowing, ocean blue lake.The reflection shines through the water. Then there are bits of huge tall land. The bottom of the hill is hard solid rock. On top, the hill has light, bright, juicy, green grass. Just beautiful.

Swamp Football

I hit the slushy gooey dirt as I screamed “I got it!” I stretched for the filthy unpleasant ball. The mucky grubby unclean ground caused me to slip, slide and fall over. But finally I got the grimey ball and booted it. It was difficult as I was covered in mud. But as I watched Chloe she slipped and shouted “Oops!” and then got up. She was grimey and filthy. It was just unpleasant. The hard ground turned into a mucky, grubby, grimey, filthy football field.

Windfall

Dreams of what happened that day.

The screams and yells fill his head.

The sites that he saw still haunt him.

The years that past.

Fighting for the glory made him proud.

The memories that stay with him.

The darkness reminds him of what happened.

The chances that he took. 

He was proud of what he did.

The best sport to play for kids is hockey.

Hockey involves moving around a lot so I am going to tell you a bit about it. When you move and ran around you get fitter basicly every time. You also learn new games that involves running. Sometimes you get faster when you ran around a lot so you really have to start putting effort into it so you get better at what you're doing. You know you've been working hard when you're puffing and sometimes sweating.

The second reason is you really always need to think. This is like a practice to be good at listening and paying attention to all the instructions. You also need to think  like if they went that way I might get the ball if I stand here.So really its like your brain really needs to think like you need to think if you need to ran our not but basicly you always need to ran or you might not get the ball. So thinking is a part of nearly all sports so thinking with what you need to do is very important.  

This is a very enjoyable sport to play. You and your friends could play together as a team. You also get practice with hitting things like you're hitting the ball with the hockey bat. In the end you might win or you might not but unless you had a good game. Every sport is kind of fun to some people but to others they might like a certain sport they like. So any sport is worth a try. So they sport kids should play should be hockey it is so fun trying to hit and take the ball of other people so give hockey a try.

Plus	Minus	C
Cats are fluffy and very cute. Only 50 percent of cats hunt. But they are very fussy about what they eat so some native animals the don’t eat. They fight of rats and small things that live in your house.	Cats hunt our native animals. Most of the ones that live on the ground. They are all ways looking around for food. There are two sides of cat people think cats are cute and cuddly they are. But they don’t know that cats can be serial killers to. Dogs hate them.	There are 1.5 million of them in New Zealand. In fact we have nearly the most cats then any other country. They are very good climbers and dogs aren’t they both have paws.

                                         

The thing I had to do here was to draw a picture of what came out of the kids bag  that was embarrassing so I drew a heart.

Ready set boom the big clapper bangs boom pow kapow everybody is gone all I can hear is ''Go! Go! Eden.'' It was at Waikaka School the date was March 2015. All the country schools were there like usual. I was there for athletics and everyone was there. First it was my running I was really nervous I crouched down on my knees. They were freezing as I kneeled down on the soaking grass. Just waiting listening to the shock loud sound of people talking contently. My sweaty feet were hitting the ground shockingly hard. My feet sunk every time I leaped over the wet soaking ground. The sound of splash splash behind me was really loud. People wouldn't stop yelling and cheering nothing would stop them. All I could see is people hanging over the side shouting. I passed the line fast and hard after that all I could think of is that I won. So I went home feeling proud of myself like always.

Homographs and Homophones

‘’Go! go!’’ yelled Miss Gardyne. I was anxious to hit the finish line fast and hard. It was 1:00pm in the afternoon at the Gore Multi Sport Complex swimming sports. I stepped inside the country schools crowded stand. The only reason I was there was to get better at swimming. I was yelling to support my school. But after that I had I had a sore throat and a spinning head. Then I was waiting in the freezing cold for my race. I had my towel wrapped around me tight . I was anxious to hop straight in every time. I stepped up to the diving board nervously. When I dived down my feet were shaking and then it was the relay. I was cutting through the water trying my best. Finally it was finished. We all tried hard and it payed off.  

Mascots

For reading I had to create a mascot for our school on kid pixs. I chose this bunny because it is cute and it is looking up at the NewZealand flag. We did this because we read a book about mascots and we had to make our own one. So I did this.

All I can see is a strip of blonde hair hanging over the corner of my face. The edge of my hair touches my ocean blue eyes. All I can see as I look down is my little sprinters that I call my feet. I look up at my frizzy hair blowing everywhere like crazy. Under that my smile that can’t stay shut is "Giggle giggle," every now and then. Now most important bit. My fingers are like little helpers and whenever I need them they can’t deny me. Behind that my wrist holds my special bracelet that I wear every day. I can trust it so I don’t lose it or break it.

ATHLETICS 

I heard footsteps hitting the ground.

I heard Mum yelling, ''Jump, jump!'' As I took a deep breath.

I felt the wind forcing against me as I lifted up into the air.

  I felt my legs take off.

I wondered if I would trip head first into the sand.

I saw the nervous faces as I hit the pit.

I wondered if I wouldn't make it, but finally I did it.

The Ants and the        Grasshopper

    The moral of the story is;

“Whatever people do to you,

   don’t do something bad back to them. Be    

  nice even if they hurt you.”

Bree is a normal teenager who lives a shocking life. She's the fastest person on earth and the smartest and shoots hot red lazes out of her eyes. She is great at gymnastics and very sassy and fussy. She is short, but not that short, long hair, red menacing eyes and dark red lips. She loves the outdoors.

                                                    Lunch Time 

As Dad screams from the other side of the car, ''What do you want? I'm not waiting around, hurry up!" We were all day dreaming of the smell flowing out of the window. As we took a sneak peek though the doors the lady shouted, ''Order up '' at the same time. Dad sliced his hand out like lightning as he pulled the bags into the car. Every one went wild scratching, jumping and screaming. Finally we got back on the road.
